Several services also may require a prolonged time under a clean condition, such as waxes or sealants. Such services may not be available for mobile detailing.

A drawback for some vehicle owners is their lack of space for detailing services. You'd be surprised by the amount of space needed to perform a detailed service correctly. 

Weather:

Mobile detailers are more likely to cancel or reschedule appointments due to weather conditions.            Conditions such as rain, snow, or even extreme cold conditions can pose issues. Whereas taking your vehicle to the shop means that detailers do not have to worry about the weather. 


In-Shop Detailing:

In-shop detailing is exactly how it sounds. You schedule an appointment and take your vehicle to a professional shop to get your vehicle detailed. You can expect a wider range of services when choosing an in-shop detailer. This is because some equipment is hard to travel with. In-shop detailing isn't concerned with the weather as these professionals are equipped to perform their services no matter rain or shine.
